At our Bristol bistro wine bar you'll find a relaxed, informal and convivial atmosphere with an intimate, candlelit charm.
Most of our dishes are based upon traditional French cooking with a Mediterranean influence.
Petits Plats - variety & experimentation
Central to our approach are our ‘petits plats’ – a French interpretation of the 'tapas' style of eating. The petits plats menu (from £4.95) enables you to create your meal by selecting and combining a number of smaller dishes, providing opportunities for variety and experimentation in your dining experience. These dishes include such delightful delicacies as roast chicken with lemon, garlic, parsley and sautéed spinach; navarin of lamb with Mediterranean vegetables; sea bass with creamed polenta and parmesan cheese; with side dishes such as creamed spinach with nutmeg and potato gratin.
You could have just one petit plat with a glass of wine, or choose a combination of between four to six dishes to provide a filling and satisfying meal for two diners.
Alternatively, we also offer a range of tantalizing and hearty large plates on our a la carte menu, with daily specials listed on chalk boards in the restaurant. (£9.95 - £14.95)
All our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, with many ingredients sourced from local markets and fresh fish delivered daily from Brixham.
