At Bistro La Barrique we make the same commitment to quality in the selection and presentation of our wines as we do with the food we serve. And in keeping with the Petit Plats approach to dining, we also encourage sampling a variety of wines with your meal; our full wine list is available by glass or bottle. Of course La Barrique is also a wine bar and a great place to simply meet for a drink.

Most of our wines come from small, independent producers, where the emphasis is on quality from small yields rather than mass production.

Our wines are supplied by Great Western Wine of Bath, and we regularly attend tastings to carefully select those that will complement and enhance our seasonal menus.

As with our food, our aim is for the wine list to provide our customers with the opportunity for experimentation and discovery. We have a Verre-a-vin machine - which vacuum seals opened bottles to prevent oxidation - enabling us to offer wine by the glass, confident that you will still experience the wine at its best.
